Responsibilities:

Work cleanly and maintain organization during service

• Communicate efficiently and respectfully
  Full knowledge of bar food and beverage menus, and able to guide guests to best order
• Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant
• Adhere to grooming and dress code standards
• Ensure food and beverage arrive to guests quickly and correctly; and confirming guest satisfaction
• Maintain the cleanliness of bar tools and bar areas
• Communicate respectfully with chefs (and kitchen team) as necessary
• Support team with beverage service to all dining room areas
• Receiving and working with ingredients for the preparation of bar menu items
• Complete all necessary opening and closing side-work according to standards and specifications set by the team in a timely and professional manner
• Responsibly serve alcoholic beverages
• Completing regular deep cleaning of the restaurant
  Cleaning, polishing and maintaining stock of bar glassware and service-ware

Skills & Requirements

• NYC Food Handlers license preferred, but not required.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• existing knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, beer
• Strong knowledge of dietary allergies
• Commitment to excellence
• Desire to learn
• Ability to work cleanly and maintain attention to detail
• At least 2 years' experience in a high volume environment and/or working with a craft cocktail program
• Experience in fine dining or casual fine dining is preferred
