Sacred Heart Universitys Department of Biology in the College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for Adjunct Instructors committed to engaging students in the study of life from molecular and cellular processes to human health organisms and ecosystems. Across the classroom laboratory and field instructors create hands-on learning experiences where students design experiments analyze evidence communicate scientific findings and apply biological principles to meaningful opportunities span lectures and laboratories for science majors and non-majors in foundational biology anatomy and physiology ecology genetics microbiology neuroscience and coastal and marine science. The breadth of the curriculum offers opportunities to teach within areas of specialization while supporting programs in Biology Biomedical Science Molecular & Cellular Biology Coastal & Marine Science and Neuroscience.
