Job Description

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a District Service Manager to lead field service operations in the Pacific West region. The role involves managing customer escalations, developing team members, driving operational excellence, and growing service revenue while managing district profitability.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex customer issues with focus on first-time resolution and long-term satisfaction
• Coach and mentor field service team members; establish clear development plans and performance accountability
• Drive operational KPI performance using Danaher Business System tools and kaizen methodologies
• Grow service revenue through agreement sales and lead generation; manage district P&L to profit targets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and partners to develop service offerings and improve delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years leading field employees, or Master's with 5+ years, or Associate's with 8+ years
• Demonstrated ability to listen to stakeholders and translate feedback into actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills with proven accountability for results
• Commercial experience with direct product or service sales and P&L ownership
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel 25-30% within region
• Remote field service team leadership experience preferred

Compensation: $135,000–$160,000 base; eligible for bonus and incentive pay
