Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLooking to hire an experienced landscape foreman to help supplement our current crews. This position is full time during the growing season along with on-call work during the winters. This position required strong work ethic, knowledge of common residential & commercial landscaping services, and requires a valid driver's license.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and guidance to a team of landscape workers before, during & after projectsWork with project estimator to prep for projects daily and discuss any job details Execute landscaping projects, including garden design, tree care and tree/shrub removal per project contractsConduct groundskeeping duties such as planting, weeding, edging and mulchingCoordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences when on-site Ensure that all work is completed according to established timelines and quality standardsCoordinate with General Manager & office to order project materials & ensure equipment is operationalRequiredSkills & ExperienceMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our shop Proven experience in landscape maintenance and installation/removalProven knowledge of typical landscaping plants, trees, and gardening techniquesExperience operating typical landscape machinery such as mini-excavators & track loadersAbility to read and interpret landscape plans and proposalsExcellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team & delegate responsibilitiesStrong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during projectsGood communication skills to interact with clients, team members & managementApplicants are required to submit a resume showing their landscape experience.
