Röhm is committed to operating with social responsibility, and  sustainability forms an integral part of our business strategy. WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS

In this role, you will lead the safe, efficient, and continuous production of polymer operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will drive performance by aligning people, processes, and priorities—ensuring production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met. As a key leader on site, you will influence operational excellence through team development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your impact will be seen in stronger performance, improved reliability, and a more engaged workforce.

  WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and direct unionized production teams to safely execute daily and long-term production plans
  • Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to ensure reliable and efficient plant performance
  • Monitor operational metrics and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps
  • Champion safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance
  • Plan and manage raw material usage and inventory to support production execution
  • Establish priorities for maintenance activities and support turnaround planning
  • Coach, develop, and support team members while managing staffing, performance, and labor relations within a union environment

Salary range $115,100 - $172,700 per year.  The posted salary range reflects the national average for this role. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.  This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus in addition to base salary.

Benefits Summary:  Full Time positions are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match, discretionary company contribution, paid time off and holidays, and wellness programs.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or related industrial environment
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or people leadership experience
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing or similar process-driven operations preferred
  • Working knowledge of production processes, equipment, and industrial safety practices
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and production or maintenance planning tools
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and applying collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills

WHAT WE OFFER

Competitive compensation and a benefits package that you’d expect from a global company: competitively priced medical, dental and vision; 401k with company match; separate company funded retirement account equal to 6% of your pay; life and disability insurance; a strong paid time off plan; and a range of elective insurances at group rates to cover some of life’s curve-balls.... and much more. You can find an overview of our  benefits on our careers page.
