The Repair Manager is a key leadership role at Schoenherr Roofing, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, ensuring top-quality workmanship, and driving growth within the technician and quality control teams. This position combines field leadership with operational oversight, including fleet management and IT asset management, to support both technicians and the broader company.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities: PROVIDE THE “SCHOENHERR ROOFING 5-STAR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE” Committed to giving our customers the best experience they have ever had, or ever will have, working with a home improvement company by building trust, exceeding customer expectations, and demonstrating the core values from the first to the last contact. Service Operations Lead, schedule, and manage the service technician team for any warranty and roofing repairs. Oversee repair tracking, billing, and reporting to ensure profitability. Serve as the primary point of communication with customers throughout the service lifecycle. Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Quality Control Monitor workmanship standards and conduct post-job inspections. Coach technicians to improve skills, efficiency, and customer service. Build, train, and scale a dedicated team to support department growth.

Requirements Skill Set: Roofing, siding and construction experience. Highly organized and attentive to detail. Ability to multi-task and pivot quickly. Exceptional follow up and follow through skills. Ability to safely climb a ladder, crawl through attics, and walk on top of steep roofs. Comfortable with heights. Must be able to lift, carry, and setup a ladder (50 lbs.). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of technological tools and ability to utilize various software systems. Ability to work across numerous teams and departments to efficiently schedule and complete projects on-time and on-budget.
