Seeking Vending Machine Inventory Stocker Associate in Antioch, TN

Overview:

• $20.80/hour
• Composite-toe shoes/boots required

Shifts:

• Monday-Friday, 10a-6:30p

Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and replenishing personal protective equipment (PPE) vending machines throughout the facility. Ensures employees have access to necessary safety supplies while maintaining accurate inventory and following all workplace safety procedures. This role requires walking throughout the 2.8-million-square-foot facility, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using basic computer systems to manage inventory and reporting. Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or vendor-managed inventory is preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock and refill PPE vending machines with gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, masks, vests, and other approved safety equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify products that need replenishment.
• Transport PPE supplies from storage areas to designated vending machine locations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully operational vending machine areas.
• Inspect vending machines for proper operation and report malfunctions or equipment issues.
• Track inventory usage and communicate supply needs to supervisors or management.
• Remove damaged, expired, or improperly stored PPE as necessary.
• Follow facility safety policies, PPE requirements, and subcontractor procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and replenishment activities.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining PPE storage areas.
• Perform routine walking and inspections throughout assigned facility areas.
• Follow proper lifting, handling, and ergonomic practices when moving supplies.
• Communicate professionally with Amazon employees, subcontractor management, and site personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, stocking, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry PPE supplies and boxes as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace instructions.
• Basic inventory management and recordkeeping skills preferred.

Work Environment
This position is performed within an active fulfillment or distribution facility. The employee may spend extended periods walking, standing, bending, and lifting supplies. The position requires compliance with all facility safety rules and personal protective equipment requirements.
